Thanks to Dave and Larry for the speedy replies; I suspected as much, I just
didn't want to resort to the drill or grinder before I was sure there was no
alternative.
Here's another question: after removing the upholstery from the sides of the
"passenger" area I noticed that there are two holes through at about the
height that I'd expect to find mount points for a shoulder belt. Looking in
from the wheel wells, there appear to be stand-off bolts with a slotted head
filling the holes in question. Does anyone no the purpose for these?
