Since the tank is kind of a dead-end for the cooling system I don't know how
long it would take for stuff you put in there to circulate around. Open the
drain petcock, drain about half a gallon from the cooling system (at least
ensure the header tank is empty), then add the water wetter through the
tank, start the engine, and top the tank back up with water. That way you
don't have to pull any hoses off.

I realize that there is no such thing as a stupid question, however, this
will surely rank as one of the less intelligent ones asked.

I want to add water wetter to my cooling system of my Tiger. Can I simply
put it in the overflow tank and assume that it will migrate into the cooling

system or do I have to remove the hose to the radiator and put it in that
way
?

Thanks Again

Hal Jean
