I don't understand why you would want to put
chalk on your tires unless you are autocrossing
and checking tire pressure.  

Of course one should always use a wheel chock
on the opposite side of the other axle when
jacking.

The Sunbeam jacking points may have been
great when the cars were new.  But here in the
land of road salt, using a jack there will result
in some very bad crunching noise.  Use a
good jack under the frame with a small
2/4 to protect your paint.
