Engine: 260 v8
I had a overheating problem today. when I looked at the engine the fan belt had
come off. After further inspection I noticed that the water pump pully and the
crank shaft pully are not lined up. The generator pulley and the water pump
pulley are lined up. It looks like the crank shaft pulley is 1/16-1/8" off from
the water pump pulley.
I have removed the thermostate from the engine. Not sure if it is working. I
may leave it out. Any in put would be helpful.
