Guys ( and Steve in particular)

Well the workshop manual online came in handy today. My copy is at work
where I'm slowly scanning it for TigerUnited site. It was warm enough here
today to take the Tiger out of the garage and let it run for awhile (50 in
N.H.). I backed out of the garage and hit the brakes to stop and nothing.
The brake pedal was mush and pulled the hand brake to stop. I walked back
into the garage to find fluid where my left rear wheel had been.
When I went into the house I thought my wife was going to die laughing
when I told her. You see 30 years ago in my original Tiger I developed a
small leak in the brake lines and so carried fluid in the trunk. I knew I
was going to sell the car( I know foolish me) and didn't have the money for
a repair job. Once in awhile my wife would have to take the car to her
office and I always told her to check the brake fluid before driving home.
Sometimes she wasn't in the best of moods when she got home after having to
add fluid dressed in her good clothes. Well I guess some things never
change. Two Tigers 35 years apart and same problem.
Well it was handy to log in and check the brake section for information. I
remember someone suggesting to bleed the lines as part of winter storage. I
don't think he meant all over the garage floor.
