For all of you that are going to run out and mash the pedals on their cars (not
me - it got UP to 0F today), get someone else to watch or put a hand on the
master cylinder such that you can feel if it's moving due to firewall flex (or
loose bolts). I had a car a while ago, in perfect body condition, and with an
otherwise extremely rigid body structure, that would flex the firewall
noticeably when you got on the brakes, so I built a brace from the master
cylinder mounting flange to the strut tower, and that improved the pedal feel
without any other changes to the setup.

PS: My condolences to Wally's family and friends. I never met him, but it gets
me down when we lose these special folks that had a hand (and usually much more)
in making the Tiger all that it is today.
