Alvin,

While I am not personally aware of Tigers, or Alpines, undergoing this
sex change operation from one orientation to another (8-), I am aware of
a few differences through perusal of the official Rootes Service
Bulletins covering the parts differences between Alpines and Tigers, as
well as detailed drawings and lists of the parts, numbers, etc.

Two major items to watch for, for the Tiger, as well as the usual pedal
mountings and steering wheel / dash board / instruments, are:

1: The power brake Servo's are located on opposite sides, and the strap
mount that goes through the firewall is reverse shaped.

2: There is a specially shaped water tank connecting the right (on-side)
lower radiator outlet to the water pump inlet with two short hoses,
rather than the LHD single hose.
The purpose of this oddly shaped, and chassis mounted, tank is to allow
passage of the steering gear to the rack (which also has changes to the
pinion housing).

I have never seen one, but they must be rare. A work-around can probably
be found, but this is a complex form tank to allow passage of the
steering shaft, yet sufficient room for hoses, water flow and attachment
of clamps.

I beleieve that the brake connection block is not changed, however, but
this is not certain to me.

Good luck, and watch that left lane (on-side) traffic.

Steve
