Gene,

Colors are a very personal preference. IMHO, the nicest color ever made
for a British car that is BRG, Red, or Blue is called "Biscuit", or
"Toast", which fairly well describes the color. Had it on my BRG MG-TD,
red on the black XK120M, and I wish it were the color on my BRG Tiger
seats, instead of black.

If I ever go for leather, that will be it. Biscuit and BRG #86. Don't
know if Martha Wheat is still making this material, (or any other) but
the maroon (my color description) upholstery she made for my son's dark
blue Alpine GT really makes it look rich.

Sunbeam and Triumph offered colored vinyl seating with white piping.
IMHO, an very tacky look.

But, of course, that is what makes horse racing. A difference of opinion.

When I visited the Morgan Factory the upholstery shop gave me a very
large piece of biscuit Connoly Hyde leather from the cut-offs of the
Morgan seats made there. Soft as a baby's bottom. Sometimes I take it
out just to look at it and feel it's elegance.

Everybody has some secret kinkyness, too! {9-)
