Sorry I should have been more specific.
My LAT 9's are original and uncut. My tire
guy used standard rubber valve stems and
they haven't leaked yet. He said that the
metal stems with gaskets tended to leak.
He expressed a little concern about the
lack of a good safety rim design in the rim,
but the tires seated OK and haven't leaked
in over 16 years.
Inner tubes are an option, but 13 inch radial tubes
may be hard to find.
Yes I did use a dab of Brylcream, but only
because it made me look so debonair.
