gears

I have a local fellow here wanting a set of 2.88 gears. Wish I had known
last week at the united. Got any sources? I changed my booster and have the
same problem with the one I rebuilt years ago. The vacuum can on the one I
took off was full of fluid so I think I will just by pass it and order a new
kit. The engine stalls and misses under hard acceleration and emits smoke.
Could a bad check valve contribute to this problem? It seems to work
correctly when blowing through it. Nick
