Actually any oil that meets the mfg specs will do as long
as you change it over 3000 miles or 6 months along with
the filter. Moboil 1 is about $4 or $5 a quart and gets
quite expensive. As one magazine editor has just advised,
with modern oils, he has never seen an engine problem
because the oil broke down. Running out of oil, never
changing oil, mechanical problems, that's a different
issue. But he has not recently seen a problem caused
by failure of any oil. I tend to agree.

If you want to do it right, install and engine hour meter
and change the oil/filter every 60 hours regardless of
mileage. You can get a meter at a boat shop or
your local aircraft parts store - Pep Boys Car& Truck
Parts, Washing Machine Parts, and Aircraft Parts.

Actually MB and other companies use Moboil 1 because
it will give slightly better MPG and they'll do anything to
meet the CAFE. Anything but install the 200 mpg carb
that is laying in their backrooms.
