Scott,
I'm no expert on the matter, but there MIGHT be a bolt hole size issue on
the ring gear. Try the Tigers United site www.tigersunited.com as I think
that there are articles covering this in greater depth. Also the pinion hub
on the 2:88 gear LIKELY (but not definitely) is different from that on the
3:73 pinion. Hope this gets you going in the right direction.
