Might be your original rivets, but not mine! I don't doubt for a minute that
these are true, but they are not the same as on mine.. I'll go burn some film
this afternoon and take a couple of pix and post them on my site for what is
original on my MK I

  I just went to the garage and looked at B9470099. She has JAL plate with
    the
  correct(?) flat headed, slotted screws. Both the stamped nr plate, and the
spec plate have the same, very small rivets with small holes in the center
which do not go all the way through.

  Also the spec plate say's Alpine 260 on the bottom line.
