Well, common sense dictates that I replace my thrashed front clip before I
finally put my crossmember and front suspension in. Fortunately an Alpine
replacement clip to the mid wheel arch came with the car. However, one of the
differences that I noticed was that the Alpine sheetmetal has no provisions
for screwing down the Tiger fan shroud. There are two threaded pieces in the
Tiger clip that look like they are pot metal, lead, tarnished aluminium (who
knows?). They almost have the appearance of having expanded in the hole where
they were placed. Is there any way of getting them out without destroying them
and for that matter is there a proper method of re-installing them. Apparently
they must be "captured" somehow to keep them from rotating.
I'm not opposed to just welding in a couple of nuts to do the same thing,
but anything distictively "Tiger" that can possibly be kept I would like to.

  Thanks, Tom Witt B9470101
