There are several versions of paint cards available that you can use to do a
"Spray Out" many collision repair centers and paint supply houses have these
readily available. They also come with a black and white checkerboard to
ensure that the color has been applied to full coverage. The process is
intended to permit a repair center to spray out a color to ensure that the
dried / clear coated color emulates what you hoped it would without having
to coat any surfaces of the car.
