Hello all,
For those of you looking for the 0.80 5th gear in the T5...it is no longer
available and nobody is currently making the gears. The 0.83 5th gear ratio in
the T5 can only be had if you have the 3.35 1st gear ("wider ratio trans"),
otherwise you will get 0.73 5th if you have the 2.95 1st gear ("closer ratio
trans").
G Force Transmissions http://www.g-forcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-5.asp
makes a 0.90 gearset for the T5 for $360.00. This will keep you on the cam at
very
high speeds which is outstanding for "spirited" motoring and road racing.
