Joey, the problem you described is pretty common and is just bad grounding.
Check both rear light housings and see how and where each are grounded.
Just clean the connections. If they are hard to reach, use a small alligator
clip jumper to make a good temporary ground and see if the problem goes
away. typically diagnostics are more time consuming than the fix so this
should help save some time. Robin Young
