Hi Joey,
In some situations the outside of the battery can accumulate enough
conductive crud that it will discharge itself.
One thing that you should do before you do the charge and wait test (or any
of the other current measurements) is to remove the battery from the car,
then carefully wash the outside surface of the battery with a mixture of
water and baking soda until all the fizzing goes away. Make sure you don't
get any of that stuff in the battery cells, because it will neutralize the
acid.
