How about checking the "Tip" books that have been produced by CAT or 
STOC/STOA (I think that's where they came from ) and see if any tip relating to 
the 
hole can be found and if so see if they correspond to the year of the Tigers 
with the hole? Just another avenue to look at. My MKI   (B9471382) does not 
have 
one.
