Mark,

Replace those seat bolts the seats pivot forward around, when the seat 
is lifted, with aircraft/boat styled quick release pins of bolt 
diameter. Should have a ring and button on one end (convenient direction 
for grabbing and depressing, removal in one move.  The seat is now free 
to remove from car, and lots more room for you to get in and work on 
under dash stuff.
