Subject: Stolen Vehicle
On Sunday night, last (10-16-05), thieves cut through all of the security
devices on
Charles Beard's trailer and drove off with it in tow. Inside was Charles'
1952 MGTD. The TD is red/red and is in concourse condition. Gorgeous. The
trailer is a Haulmark 14 foot, enclosed, white, with a 2 1/2 foot MG sign on
the back tailgate door, dual axle.
Please be on the lookout for these items and notify the police asap if you
see or suspect anything related to this incident. Please notify all your
friends in other car clubs throughout the country and ask them also to be
watchful. Charles had the trailer well protected but they managed to drive
off with it anyway. Please review your own security and insurance coverage.
It is sad that we have to have an incidence like this to remind ourselves
how vulnerable is our hobby.
