Quick question - did Tiger engines ever need to be converted/modified at all to run reliably on unleaded fuel? I thought I heard that the heads or valves needed to be hardened or something like that to run the less-lubricating unleaded gas. How can I tell if my newly purchased Tigers have had this done, if it is necessary? Or should I just always add lead additive to be safe? Thanks, Peter Peter Laurinaitis peter.laurinaitis.wg02@wharton.upenn.edu |
