Tiger folks, I was reading my Shelby American Racing History the other day
and wondered if any of those great Tiger photos were available. So I looked
for Dave Friedman (the author and early Shelby PR person) and sent him an
email. Not sure if everybody already knows this but it turns out they are
(he says he has about 50 Tiger shots). He sold me mine for 25 bucks a
piece, 8X10 originals. Seemed a small price for originality, so I ordered 6
and they are great, he has a tag on back of who it is and where and when.
Most seem to be 1964. Some nice shots of Ken Miles in one of the Shelby
Tigers leading Vettes and cobras.
Anyway he sent what he said he would in a real timely manner. I have no
affiliation with him whatsoever just passing this along to those that may be
interested. He doesn't have an online catalog so best bet is to see one you
like in the book and ask for a copy. His email is:
