Mufflers

I'm getting ready to put new mufflers on my Tiger and noticed the ones on 
the car have
"Thunderbird" reverse stamped into them. I've never heard of that brand so 
was wondering
if they are originals or some long gone cheap-o company. Anyone know for 
sure? I have a
thing against throwing away original parts, no matter what shape they're in.
