As far as I know all the brake line fittings are 3/8x24 with bubble
flare. Confirm that with a 3/8 x 24 die on the line fitting you have just
in case someone change the brake system.

You will need a bottoming tap to clean those threads.

If you do not have a bottoming tap; take any 3/8 x 24 bolt and cut 2 or 3
good grooves down the length of the bolt and use it for a tap. Use grease
on the tap to hold the cut chips and be careful not to dig into the area
where the bubble makes the seal.

I have a stock Girling 7/8" brake master cylinder which needs the female
threads for the outlet pipe cleaned up - ie, the female threads for the pipe
which goes to the booster. Can anyone confirm the correct size and pitch for
those brake line fittings?

Thanks
