I neglected to mention that before I started driving the McLeod throwout
bearing, it had been sitting, assembled but unused, inside the
transmission for about four years. This is a no-no according to McLeod -
they want you to use it every day to prevent things drying out.
I'm currently running a DOT4 fluid in it... McLeod recommends DOT3 but I
wanted to have the same thing in all 3 hydraulic systems.
