I pulled both of my tanks as well as the crossover and connecting pipes and
found little rust but quite a collection of paint peelings and other crap
... I had had chronic fuel delivery problems, all attributable to the
decades of junk in the tanks clogging the fuel line. It was well worth the
time to disassemble, clean and reseal. I used the KBS system ...
www.kbs-coatings.com ... and very happy with the results ...

Now that I'm asking questions, I was able to see the inside of my one tank
today have some rust in one very small area. I work on and restore old
snowmobiles if I had a gas tank with this little rust I'd throw on a in
line filter run a tank a gas through and call it good. Pretty sure I drained
the tanks 20 years ago, but can't see the other tank. Should I pull the
other tank? What do you think. Thanks Kevin
