| I installed a GM one-wire alternator. It charges fine and the idiot light and ammeter work properly. However, if I leave it for several days or weeks it drains the battery. I have checked the main wire with a meter and it is grounded. I don't remember the exact resistance. Does that mean one of the diodes in the regulator has gone bad? _______________________________________________ Tigers@autox.team.net Donate: http://www.team.net/donate.html Archive: http://www.team.net/archive Forums: http://www.team.net/forums |
