The fuel injection system I'm running has the pump in the spare tire well,
drawing from a filter/header tank arrangement, and the regulator is up on the
firewall, with a return line going back to the header tank. So there is
continuous circulation of fuel from the back of the car to the front, although
the volume of fuel being circulated is not that large.
