Thanks for everyones patience. I sanded off the paint earlier and the paint
code is 19 (nineteen) I hope that is a red of some sort as the black on top
is peeling and the red appears orginal. The car was a 2 owner according to
the Rootes mechanic who bought the car after a lady traded it in. The
orginal oil change/log book is still with the car. It is rough and I do have
a wanna be owner coming from Chicago next Wed. to take a look see. The car
is rough and has plenty of rust. If TRUE the engine(orginal) has
approximately 10k after a rebuild. The air cleaner was missing but it has a
F4B that I believe was an option- is there a way to tell an optional F4B
from a latter add on??? I would also appreciate any personal thoughts on the
value of the car. It is all there except for the air cleaner and I have a
spare. I did remove the fan shroud but will replace it if he meets my asking
price- that mentioned. I would appreciate any and everyones opinion of what
a pretty dam rough BUT all there with orginal rivets, hard top and plenty
of money to be invested is worth. You can respond off list if you prefer BUT
please respond. I dont want to rape anyone , especially myself. I know epay
is the place to get the best price but epay just isnt one of my faves.
