I'm letting the expert refinisher do the job and he's ok with technique.
The question is to define the correct shade to strive for.
I'm guessing that the veneer covered by the dash pad roll and accordingly
protected from fading from sunlight, is correct.
It's dark though, darker than I'd expect but OTOH I've never seen a dash in
pristine factory color and condition.
I'll pass along the revision from burl walnut to walnut.
