Thanks for the information.
In response to your question, I am not the original owner but am confident
that the dash is a "genuine" Tiger dash and am fairly confident that it is
original to the car.
It definitely is not heavily burled - it is hardly burled all.
The responses so far lead me to speculate a theory of considerable variability
in the grain of factory Tiger dashes.
I'm more confident regarding the factory shade of color as my dash, beneath
the lower dash pad roll where the sun couldn't fade it, presents a good sample
of the original color -- a somewhat dark brown.
