Also, if you look closely using =E2=80=9Csmoke-test=E2=80=9D you will =
notice the southern hemisphere horn output rotates counter-clockwise vs =
clockwise for northern hemisphere. Of course northern/southern =
hemisphere clocks work the same way but most folks don=E2=80=99t notice =
since they are respectively upside down so things seem to turn in the =
=E2=80=9Cright=E2=80=9D direction.

=20

Regarding the battery terminal advice below. It is quite important. If =
you do in fact reverse the polarity the horn will suck instead of blow =
(as will the heater fan) and the tail lights will glow =
=E2=80=9Cwhite=E2=80=9D while headlights will glow =
=E2=80=9Cred=E2=80=9D.=20

=20

Also, don=E2=80=99t forget that cars manufactured in southern hemisphere =
use left-hand thread hardware=E2=80=A6.. so don=E2=80=99t try to =
mix/match parts or the car will be cross-eyed and you will end up with =
4-speeds in reverse.

Cheers,

Wayne

Of course, it should always be remembered to switch terminals on the =
horns whenever
the car is moved from the northern hemisphere to the southern, or vice =
versa. A careful
inspection of a South African Tiger will show that the horn connections =
are opposite to
those used on the home market cars.

Tod
