As I cruised around a few web sites to scare up a rebuild kit for my =
stock
two barrel, I came across some interesting pictures. The stock 2 =
barrel
carb is from the "2100" family. The slightly later but related 2150 =
family
has a significant difference.
I'm suspecting that for one reason or another, fuel came out of the vent =
on
the top of the fuel bowl, boiling, leaky valve, or whatever, and this is
what fueled my recent fire. The 2150, instead of just having an open =
vent
hole, has a little fitting that was apparently designed to accept a =
hose,
perhaps to drain any overflow to a safe location.
So I'm looking for an extremely low profile right angle fitting... I'm
thinking aquarium hose size... That will fit under the stock air =
cleaner...
Any other ideas out there?
