Never had a problem with the OEM choke on mine. That said, I had parted =
out my beyond-saving rotten Alpine V and had a Sunbeam manual choke =
cable in hand so, when I put in a new engine, I went with a manual choke =
version. No complaints. I presume not appropriate if you are going for =
=E2=80=9C100% stock=E2=80=9D.
