Since I seem to be the point of many comments (not just this one), YES, I h=
ave heard of and know what a Schrader valve is. HOWEVER, neither in the ori=
ginal post nor in the Ebay item (I found) that was worded IDENTICALLY as th=
e post was the word TIRE (or tube) ever used. So, there was NO inclination =
that the tool was used in conjunction with a tire. And from the Ebay ad the=
re was nothing to compare the items size. So, there was no knowing how larg=
e or small it was. I do not have a tool kit to compare, and TBON was alread=
y stated as not providing what the original poster was looking for.
Thus was my thinking going to known =E2=80=9Cvalves=E2=80=9D in a Tiger. An=
d the only other valves I though of were; the engine valves, heater control=
valve and possible a radio vacuum tube using a British term =E2=80=9Cvalv=
e=E2=80=9D (Reference Tim Hunkin =E2=80=9DSecret Life of Machines=E2=80=9D)=
and the tool was used for some type of electronic adjustment. Also, a thir=
d of my working life I was a TV Studio technician and we often used very si=
milar looking tools to adjust cameras, hence the mental connection for radi=
o adjustment.
BTW, these were merely suggestions (=E2=80=9Ccould=E2=80=9D), I admitted to=
the term (sans the word tire) was =E2=80=9Ccofounding=E2=80=9D because I c=
ould not think of ANY reason (with the exception of a radio adjustment) a p=
lastic tool would be used for those other stated purposes. In essence I was=
ruling out most of those things I mentioned.
So, yea, I get it. The simplicity of the tool once revealed makes even me g=
rin at myself a little bit. But, please, have a little mercy. Had the word =
TIRE or, yes, even Schrader valve been used I would not have overthought my=
reply. Which by the way was (I believe) the first one some 17 hours after=
the initial question was posed =E2=80=93 and others could have had amply o=
pportunity =E2=80=93 but didn=E2=80=99t.

s =E2=80=9Cvalves.=E2=80=9D Frankly it looks like a shaft for a radio knob=
=2E.., or a tool for adjusting old style potentiometers , capacitors etc..
I'm dumbfounded. Have none of you ever heard of a Schrader valve? It's wh=
at holds the air in your tires!
