This would have been=C2=A0 a good one for April Fool's Day. When has a 29 c=
ent piece of plastic generated this much mail?=F0=9F=98=9C I'll admit also,=
 the original posting had me thinking of engine valves and of some rare and=
 exotic tool used by old English mechanics.

very similar looking tools to adjust cameras, hence the mental connection f=
or radio adjustment.
BTW, these were merely suggestions (=E2=80=9Ccould=E2=80=9D), I admitted to=
 the term (sans the word tire) was =E2=80=9Ccofounding=E2=80=9D because I c=
ould not think of ANY reason (with the exception of a radio adjustment) a p=
lastic tool would be used for those other stated purposes. In essence I was=
 ruling out most of those things I mentioned.
So, yea, I get it. The simplicity of the tool once revealed makes even me g=
rin at myself a little bit. But, please, have a little mercy. Had the word =
TIRE or, yes, even Schrader valve been used I would not have overthought my=
 reply.=C2=A0 Which by the way was (I believe) the first one some 17 hours =
after the initial question was posed =E2=80=93 and others could have had am=
ply opportunity =E2=80=93 but didn=E2=80=99t.

 for a radio knob..., or a tool for adjusting old style potentiometers , ca=
pacitors etc..


I'm dumbfounded.=C2=A0 Have none of you ever heard of a Schrader valve?=C2=
=A0 It's what holds the air in your tires!
