Don't cut the badge, the cuts will show up from the front. If you glue/sil=
icon it on, be careful what you use, some adhesives will mess up the badge =
paint. I would try a thin double-sided tape.

Hey, everyone:

 =C2=A0

I went to replace my tired-looking center grille badge on my Mk1A with a re=
pro badge, but the repro badge doesn=E2=80=99t have the inset side like the=
original to accept the stock retaining clips.=C2=A0 If I remove the clips,=
the repro badge fits perfectly into the hole but there is no means of reta=
ining it there.

 =C2=A0

For those of you out there who have replaced these, how did you affix the r=
epro badge?=C2=A0 I can see no way to attach it by using the stock clips wi=
thout first modifying the sides of the badge to accept the clips.=C2=A0 Are=
we left with just using something like a silicone gasket product to hold i=
t in place?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Andy Walker
