With the talk about Tigers and Ports of Entry, I make me wonder if anyone h=
as ever put together (or found)=C2=A0 a list of the Sunbeam car dealer netw=
ork?
I know that some cars I've owned you could trace which dealer originally so=
ld the car through the original paperwork. Without the original paperwork I=
'm not sure how you would know.
Was there ever a list of dealers?
I know in 1966-1967 my father bought a brand new Sunbeam Alpine GT. The car=
came with a hardtop but there was no soft top. The dealer had their own Al=
pine they used for racing and I can remember trying to talk my dad into buy=
ing a Sunbeam Tiger which the dealer had in stock.
The dealer was close to the military bases which was probably where most of=
their buyers were from.
I don't recall the name of the dealership, but I remember they were on Dyer=
Street in El Paso, Texas.=C2=A0
