TR6 Cylinder head

Did you check whether the mechanical advance was working correctly on the
distributor?  It tends to get gummed up with corrosion.  That happened to
me twice on a GT6 and a TR6.  Makes a HUGE difference in power.  I don't
think that 2 cylinders down 15% in compression would make so much
difference.
