Since Spits and GT6s are pretty similar, I'll tell you what I use.
I've got road rated TriumphTune springs, rear anti-sway bar, Spax up front
and a seriously uprated engine.
I've had real good performance out of my set of Yokohama A-509s in a 185-65
size. There's plenty of clearance in the wheel wells, but the shorter profile
will drop your ride height about 1/2" from stock - I don't know what you've
got now as far a tire profile or suspension. I autocross about once a month
and the Yokes do OK. Had I to do over I propable opted for the more
aggressive grip of the AVS Intermediate.
