Not to be picky, but...is there such a thing as a 68 TR6?  I thought 69 
was first year. Weren't 250s and TR5s in 68?

'Far as I know, only 250's were out in "68.  I sent the article by Charles 
McEwen just as it appeared in the NY Times on the 24th.

 I guess the part that really struck me was the idea of driving ANY '68 
Triumph 12,000 miles through Nepal and Tibet on roads "no more than a dirt 
track, at elevations of 15,000 to 17,000 feet" ---in a race where "all 
entrants must carry their own parts"!!!!

Maybe a good question for the list would be - OK, WHAT DO I PACK????
