About a week ago I reported that I had called Moss in England
regarding the 88 pound TR6 NOS hard top shell. They told
me that they were sold out. A few days ago, I got the following
reply from an earlier inquiry that I had sent via E-mail:
So I don't know if they have them in stock or not.

Re your recent note to Mossmag.
The TR6 hardtoips are still available as shells only with headling, but no
fittings or exterior trims.
The freight to USA would be out of court as the box size is 2.5Cu Metres,make
the freight by air in the region of 250 pounds.
There is an error on the inquiry form which we will be sorting in the next
few
days, i hope.

Me again:
Has anybody out there on the list got one of those Lenham
Hard-Tops sold by Rimmer Bros.? From the picture in their
ad the top looks just like the NOS top; except it is plastic
rather than steel. At 242.55 pounds it looks pretty nice.
A lot nicer than any other plastic hard top I've seen.
Anyway, if anyone has any first hand (or second hand)
experience with these, I wouldn't mind hearing about it.
