It would appear to me that Mark's chief complaint involves nothing more
than a matter of diligence in housekeeping on the part of the AOL
subscribers. I do not work through AOL, but I think it should be fairly
straight-forward to fix the problems that cause him grief. Think about what
can be done, ask Mark if he thinks it will work, and try it. I would hate
to lose the talents of some of the folks on the list over such a simple
problem.

Phil, thanks for your comments. Some of us "AOLers" are not computer
illiterate and do take care of our mail-boxes etc. Some of us are even
fluent in computerese. There will always be people who make mistakes or get
careless - that's human nature. You are absolutely right - we need to bear
with each other - both ways. I.E. we need to give Mark a break for the great
work which he does and I hope he will be a little more forthcoming about
people who like user - friendly software and view computers as tools for
