I thought the colors were pretty awful too, and I'm using Netscape 3.01 Gold.
It was just as bad with 4.01b6, but looked fine with Lynx! However, there
should be an ALT= tag on the title image. I was glad to see size tags.

I would really really like to encourage people not to go wild with fancy stuff.
Lots of people (like me) browse with Java and Javascript turned off for
security reasons. A CERT Advisory on Javascript was issued as recently as July

Some folks turn off default image loading because their modem isn't the
fastest in the world and so on.
The point of good web site design, IMHO, is to make it accessible to the
widest possible audience while still being cool. Not using weird colors,
all the latest "features" of a particular browser and so on. Sure, have a
javascript catalog if you like but provide an alternative way to get the same
info for folks who either have to use other browsers (AOL and Prodigy come to
mind) or *choose* not to use all the features.
I've been a pretty loyal TRF customer for almost 10 years now, but I may
change my mind if the TRF web site chases flash and dazzle at the expense of
accessibility.
This really isn't about Triumphs, so *I* will only continue this discussion in
private mail, not on the list.
