Victoria British (800-255-0088) sells the smallest K&N for your Z-S, but you 
might
want to contact Performance International in L.A. (800-522-1672).  They
can set you up with center-set (or offset) 6-inch filters in three different
thicknesses.  A fellow lister turned me on to them.  I put a couple of their
Şmid-sizeŞ K&Ns on my Spitfire (2.75 inches thick, I think).  I would beware
the largest filter, though -- it *may* hit your wheel well when you lower the
bonnet.
