Yes, I went thru it and I paid 19.95 for a regular P reamer. First I ran a
drill thru, and never used the reamer. I was able to push the shafts in and
then I put the end of the shafts  in a drill and lapped them in with
grinding compound. Its not such a big deal as you might imagine.

Greetings again!

The recently resurrected TR3B has a rather common problem, the throttle
shafts in the carbs are worn, allowing air to leak.  :-(

The result is an idle of about 2000 rpm's when the engine is hot. Not
something I want to impress the DMV with when I get it inspected...

Moss sells oversized throttle shafts, TRF sells rebushing kits. 

The Moss setup requires a reamer ($114.95 - ouch) and the TRF rebushing
means a trip to a machine shop.

Has anybody gone thru this? Which way is better?
