If this is the cardboard style, a la Spitfire, I can recommend (for
once) something a PO (and this time not a DPO) did on mine. I don't
know the previous condition, but he simply fibreglassed over the
cardboard, and it worked very well. It'll probably last for years and
he wouldn't have had to wait for delivery from across some border.
