I am reassembling my shifter after a partial rebuild. Should the nylon sphere
on
the bottom of the GT6 shift lever (and its socket) be greased? (This answer
seems to
me to be a natural *yes* ...)

from my basement yesterday. Lacking snap ring pliers (whatever the hell they
are),
Home Mechanic Boy finally figured out a way to remove said snappy ring,
but he must tell you, it wasn*t pretty. And today he has the screwdriver
trails on
his arms to prove it ...
