I experienced the same thing. Sent in an application and check but haven't
heard a word......haven't received a magazine....nuttin'. Then again I joined
the TRF's Coventry Motoring and Aviation Society to the tune of $125 and I
got a badly photo copied "welcome" letter that was difficult to read. I
realize that this is a fund raising effort for the Coventry Inn but I'd
expect a letter on a real piece of stationary and signed by Charles Runyan
himself for that kind of money. Afterall, I didn't send a badly photocopied
$100 bill to pay the membership fee. I enthusiastically support people who
are trying to keep our hobby alive but I expect value in my parts and
services.
